Low PUFA Pasture Raised Eggs-- LG

Our flock is rotated to fresh untreated pasture every few days, fed a custom blend certified organic soy free, corn free, PUFA free feed mix.  PUFAs (poly-unsaturated fats) are a highly unstable fat that causes oxidation (free radicals) in our systems- and that of our animals. Animals fed a high PUFA diet pass that along to us in their fat composition. Our flock does receive one cottage cheese container of sunflower seeds to fight over before bed each day- this is the only form of pufa that they receive and as a whole seed it is quite stable. They are also given fresh treats like tomatoes and kale, and are guarded by Ginger- our guard goose along with our 2 new roosters! These are large sized eggs.
